Harvest tech/preservative questions

I just bought a manual Harvest Tech preservative applicator. Read the OM and everything I could find on this forum. I know I need to know bale weight,tons per hr, moisture, preservative rate. This is kinda overwhelming to me. The moisture and rate are fairly easy, but is there any way to estimate bale weight (other than weighing a few)? If I baled for example,18-22% moisture, will bales hold their shape? I know bermuda must be dry to keep bale shape. Thanks for any tips/suggestions.
