I've been looking for a set of 45 ft booms to put on my 3 point hitch sprayer but couldn't find anything, ended up buying a tow behind 300 gallon George White sprayer with only 24 ft booms from a sod farmer. Was told the owner looked after his gear really well so didn't look too closely which was a bit of a mistake.
-Stainless tank has goo in it form mixing Par3 herbicide with RV antifreeze that looks like it will plug the nozzles
-PTO shaft need rebuilding
-Pump has drain plug epoxied in with signs of rust and leakage around it
-Brand new foamer is missing the control box and foam jug
-Lots of rotten hose
On the plus side
-New tee-jet nozzles
-Fancy dandy stainless and cast aluminum hose reel, about 30" wide, 18" diameter.
-new sectional valve
Anyone have tips about cleaning it out? I think Round Up is known to dislodge a lot of crap in the tank isn't it? Could let it agitate for a while.
Was looking for just booms but bought an old sprayer
