JD 346 Small Baler - Want Small Heavy Bales

Im looking at trying to offer a smaller length bale at a decent weight. I know I can reduce the bale length by adjusting my star wheel and its position.

Anyone have any experience on how short I can go, and what weight I might be able to obtain when going shorter.

 

Trying to compete with the compressed bale market as many horse owners love the small size and decent weight of the compressed bales. I know I wont probabaly get the same size and weight but can I get close?

 

Baling Timothy, Smooth Brome and Orchard.
