With hardly any rain here and a vast hay shortage things are getting ugly. Already hearing reports of bales being stolen. Even worse people are stealing standing hay crops. The neighbor down the road was buying the standing hay crop across the road from her place. Made arrangements with me to do the haying for a share of the bales. The weather says its going to rain everyday(still waiting 5 days later no rain yet) so I have no cut anymore hay yet. Anyways another neighbor felt that he was entitled to that hay field and went in and started haying. Wow really! He is a new guy in the neighborhood. Has lots of money and figures if he needs or wants something he gets it. He also owns the farm supply store in town. Guess what Iam not buying anything from his store again. Will drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the next town.
Things are getting ugly here.
