The mower deck bleeds down so fast you can't get to the back of the mower fast enough to put the transport pins in. My logic dictated that it had to be the hydraulic cylinders leaking down so I took them in to be rebuilt. No difference. It leaks down on any tractor we use so I don't think it's the tractors.
I called the nearest Vermeer dealer and asked if it could be the pressure reducing valve. He said that it would be highly unlikely and he suggested changing out the tips on the hydraulic lines. Does that make any sense?
