AGCO / NEW IDEA disc moco help

I have a Massey 1339 (same as 1359 and NO 5209).
It's my first season after using the mounted version for years.

I'm trying to cut birdsfoot and orchard grass field.

Mower keeps plugging on rt (outside) cutter bar, and is causing uncut crop.

The lower vertical stripper plate is NOT within 1/8" of crop divider ribs as per spec. It's close with one rib but the divider does not set square on top of the turtle, so in order to not contact the nearest rib, the gap is 1/4-1/2 on the other ribs.

This wet soft birdsfoot keeps balling up between stripper plate and crop divider & then crop divider and frame.

My first inclination is to just throw parts at it and get new block, crop divider & stripper plate.
But not sure that will fix it. I probably should do new knives as that always helps but...

Anyone have experience with this that can steer me?
