i am currently taking over about a 40 acre hay operation and trying to hold down a demanding full time job on top of it. In Canada Atlantic coast" think maine next to ocean inland 35 miles" need increase in efficiency small squares is what we do with a good nh 575 problem I think that would speed up is replacing a very good working side delivery nh rake for ???? Rotary???? And replacing a very old hay bob style Tedder with???? 4 basket Tedder???. We use hay baskets and have enough to keep crew in barn working.
Problems I think I see with a good side delivery is it tends to rope hay which means no raking until ready to bale which cuts bale time. Hoping rotary rake allows raking before ready to bake and still get finish drying????
Hay bob I think just plain sucks stirs hay doesn't stand up well and hard on leaf ????
