Removing/unplugging floor rotor on NH7070

Does anyone have experiance unplugging the floor roller on a NH7070 baler?  Operator hit the hydrolic lever for opening the door before the bale was wrapped and then tried to quick close it (this never works, but is human instinct to try).  Was baling long grass and it wrapped around the lower drum so tight it snapped the shaft holding the sprocket.  So after we have it unplugged we will need to remove the roller.  At first glance it looks like we need to remove the whole bottom and hay pickup from the baler.  Would prefer not to have to do this if possible.

 

Any helpfull suggestion?
