new holland 273 baler pickup tray

after who knows how many bales the pickup cam tray went belly up and had to get a new one. question is this one has a slot in it unlike the original so its easy to put in and take out unlike the original but what keeps the cam roller from dropping in the open part of the slot? or am I over thinking this and it will just go round and round like its suppose to... thanks
