Timothy Types and Why???

My fields are Clair timothy and Climax timothy - reason:

 

1.  Different maturity dates - don't want all the hay down at one time, risk reduction; easier on the back to divide the harvest.

 

2.  Seed is cheap and readily available in my area.

 

Question is - what type of timothy do/did you grow and why?  How did it compare to Clair and Climax?
