NH 268 timing question

I have a NH 268 baler that I need to check the timing on. The problem is that the front timing marks under the crank are rusted away. The timing marks on the knotter clutch are there though.

Can I time the baler by turning the flywheel until the crank is at top-dead-center and then line up the marks on the knotter clutch assembly?
