Thinking of putting in some of the reed canary grass on a 6 acre field . First is it can be sown in late summer early fall here in ky can't it ??? Have read several different things on it and just looking for the pros and cons of it . Its a fairly wet field but its not like water gets over it or anything . you just cant get over the field in the spring . Was thinking timothy but would like something that would come back and getting another cutting or 2 . I sell hay so mainly for horses but if it got mature it'd get rolled for cow hay .
