Krone Fortima help ASAP

So maintenced the Baler yesterday so I was set to bake today. Flicked it on in the driveway just to double check and in the process folded the shield at the bottoms of the door into the chains. How important is this? Is it mostly for chaff?

I had to cut the top part off while on the Baler it was jammed in there so bad. Bent a roller that I'm not sure the best way to straighten. But do I have to put what's left back in once I straighten the rest out?
