is there any good technique to help a wheel rake make fluffier windrows in light alfalfa? sr110 kuhn g2 running about 5mph. this was raked around 9:30am with dew just off, damp leaves. It did a good job moving all of the leaves and stems to the windrow. I certainly appreciate the consistent windrow width when round baling, but i'd sure like a fluffier windrow to help the breeze dry the stems on the day of baling. Do i need to start shopping for rotary rakes or is there anything to adjust that will make fluffier windrows with this wheel rake? only have this one picture of the field when i finished.
what's the best way to run a kuhn wheel rake in light alfalfa
