Vermeer 5420 bale density

Does anyone have any info on how to recharge the density system? New baler with 69 bales had a bad hose (fluid coming through rubber coating). This is the line that goes from the block to the gauge. Dealer didn't have a hose to replace it and pieced together a hose 😠 They ordered a kit with the hose in it. The repaired hose blew apart after first bale. Back to the dealer and got the the new hose from the kit. They instructed me to fill the line with fluid and attach it the gauge. That didn't work and after several attempts at bleeding air from the system I could not get the bale density to work correctly. Ended baling 48 popcorn fart bales. The density gauge would only give a reading when the bale size reached 50" It would jump to 1000 and hold until putting the twine on and then fall to 750 range. I am thinking when the line blew out while forming that first bale that fluid came out of more than just the line. It is under warranty, but it's a 2 hour round trip and I know the shop is busy this time of year. I appreciate any help.
