Southern Michigan and it's been a hot and dry summer. 1.5" in June, 1'5" in July, August started with 7/10ths and has stopped again. It was forecasted to rain all week but now they've changed it to 2/10ths tomorrow and nothing again for 5 days. So my original plan was to seed today but not sure now. Is it okay to seed and let it sit there? My concern is it will germinate from this little bit of rain and then die. If it makes any difference I'll be overseeding into some pastures and a hayfield.
