New Holland 450 net problem

A friend of mine has this baler, it’s the utility model with 500 bales on it. I don’t have much experience with NH round balers.
He said the problem is when it cuts the net it leaves it really ragged. Also has chunks of net build up on the knife. He’s having to get off and remove the net build up every 3rd bale.
I can’t see anything wrong with it, but haven’t watched it in action. He did say he changed net brands recently.
What do y’all think?
